CITY OF MASSILLON PARKS
Genshaft Memorial Park
Step up to the plate at Genshaft Ball Park — one of the area’s premier softball facilities! Hosting thousands of players each spring, summer, and fall, the park comes alive seven days a week with over a thousand games played annually on four well-maintained fields.

Reserved primarily for Parks & Recreation adult softball leagues, these fields are also available to rent for tournaments. On-site amenities include a concession stand and a covered pavilion with tables, making it the perfect spot for players and fans alike.
Oak Ledges Disc Golf
Discover the fun, excitement, and challenge of disc golf at our scenic course located in Lincoln Park. Disc golf is played much like traditional golf, but instead of using a ball and clubs, players throw a flying disc (Frisbee®). The goal is the same: complete each hole in the fewest number of strokes—or in this case, throws. Players start by throwing from a designated tee area toward a target, most commonly a Pole Hole®, an elevated metal basket that serves as the "hole." As you move down the fairway, each throw is made from where the previous one landed, navigating around trees, shrubs, and varied terrain that create fun and challenging obstacles.
Just like traditional golf, disc golf brings the thrill of long putts and the occasional frustration of an unexpected tree hit. But unlike traditional golf, disc golf is usually free to play, requires no carts, and never comes with a bad tee time. It's accessible to people of all ages and skill levels, regardless of experience or background.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, come enjoy the game, the outdoors, and the community at Lincoln Park’s disc golf course!
Living Memorials
The Living Memorials program was developed by the Massillon Parks and Recreation as a means of remembering loved ones. Trees are an excellent way to honor or remember friends and relatives. This gift also provides enjoyment and rewards to park users for generations to come. Residents can purchase a tree to be planted in the park of their choice. Call Massillon Parks and Recreation at 330-832-1621 for more information.
MultipurposeTrails/Walking Paths
Nature lovers and hikers are alive and well, enjoying the great outdoors on our walking, hiking and biking trails. The
Sippo Valley Trail
beginning at the Bottoms Park is an 8-mile stretch of the former Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad bed. The trail offers a prime hiking and biking route, with portions yielding as an equestrian trail, reaching to the Wayne County line. The
Campbell Walking Path
at Reservoir Park provides a 1.27 mile path for walking and jogging, and continues into nearby South Sippo Park. The
Ohio & Erie Canalway Towpath Trail
is a 110-mile trail currently under development, stretching from Lake Erie in Cleveland and ending in Zoarville located in Tuscarawas County. Massillon’s 6-mile section runs adjacent to the Tuscarawas River. Here is a link for more information about the historic Towpath Trail.
Pickleball
Lincoln Park is home to our first outdoor pickleball court. We also have six courts at Wampler Park. The courts are open to the public and may be used at any time during park hours.
Off-Leash Dog Park
