Massillon Parks & Recreation is always looking for volunteers. Our Volunteer Program gives an individual or organization the opportunity to serve and give back to the community. Opportunities available through this program are varied from helping to coach a youth sports team to helping with tree planting. Commitment ranges from a few hours per year to a weekly schedule. Do you have a special skill or hobby that you are willing to share? Instructors are always needed to teach new classes for Massillon Parks & Recreation. Creativity is always encouraged and commitment is flexible. Ideas for a class could be one of the following or something you create:

Programs
Youth Scholarship Program
Youth Scholarships are available through Massillon Parks & Recreation. The program is available for those students who qualify for the free or reduced lunch program and are also Massillon City School district residents in grades K – 12. Please call 330-832-1621 for more information.
Tree & Bench Memorial Program
A Memorial Program was developed by Massillon Parks & Recreation as a means of remembering a loved one(s). Trees and benches are an excellent way to honor or remember friends and relatives. This gift also provides enjoyment and rewards for park users for generations to come. Residents can purchase a park bench or a tree to be placed in the park of their choice.
