The lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the safety of pool patrons while swimming and utilizing the pool area, enforcing pool rules, and maintaining a safe and sanitary pool. Adheres to Massillon Recreation Center's Mission, Vision, and Motto Statements and all policies and procedures.
Job Requirements: All applicants must be currently certified in Lifeguarding/First Aid and CPR/AED. Please note: In order to receive full consideration copies of certifications must be attached to application.

Water Aerobics Instructor
|
The water aerobics instructor provides exercise instruction, monitors, educates patrons on fitness and safety, and maintains a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for class participants.
Job Requirements: The water aerobics instructor should maintain a certification in water aerobics or have previous experience instructing water aerobics or advanced exercise classes. Be comfortable instructing groups of 5-10 individuals. Must be certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications. Fitness Class Instructors
|
We are always looking for new instructors to teach new and continuing classes at the Massillon Recreation Center. We have morning and evening classes available. We can provide equipment for classes, including spinning bikes, steps, weights, bands and stability balls.
